A Fun Fall Colored Accordion and a SALE at Elizabeth Craft Designs!

It's been a while since I have played with my ECD Peel Off Stickers but I was playing with my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens and the Peel Off's were perfect for practicing my watercolor with them. I decided to use mainly Fall colors and create a Fun card using the Fancy Label Accordion by Karen Burniston for ECD.  These Butterfly Peel Off's are designed to fit perfectly on the Fancy Label.

Here is my Card in the closed position:

Partially open:

And the card opened up:

I thought it would be fun to make a Butterfly Garland on the inside of this card using the Butterfly Accessory dies by Karen Burniston! I don't often use Real Fall Colors but I Love the Orange and Yellow a long with the blues :)
The Happy is from the Happy Birthday Pop It Up by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs as well as the Oval I used for the sentiment from the Oval Accordion set.
I embossed the Fancy Frame Edges using the Trendy Tiles Embossing folder by Karen Burniston.

I really struggled with the clean color brush pens until I talked to my friend Mary Dawn and got the right paper. Since them I just can't put them down they are so beautiful to water color with.

OHHHHH and there is a Sale right now at Elizabeth Craft Designs and several of the Fun Fall Items are on Sale at Great Prices!  Go Snag some to play with..... HERE!

Hope you have a Wonderful Day!

My September CCC Card sent to Agata!

This months Card Chain Challenge Colors really through me for a Loop :) They were Olive Cobalt and Ivory! I did not have to use them as I did use the Sketch but I always try to use at least two of the things listed by Deborah!  Since I had just gotten to play with some New Karen Burniston dies coming to Elizabeth Craft Designs soon I decided to use Lucky the Rabbit and the Basket with Flowers for my card!
I sent my card to Agata in Switzerland!

Here is the Front: ( Which follows the sketch and colors)
I used several dies by Karen Burniston for the Circles and the Happy and Day from Happy Birthday Pop It Up's!

Here is the Inside with Lucky the Rabbit!
I used a stitched Lorna label for the Sentiment by Simon Says Stamp
and the Grass border from the outdoor edges set and Lucky , The Basket and Flowers are all new dies coming to Elizabeth Craft Designs in October!
I just adore that basket such a clever die by Karen!

Like I said it is a card with very unusual colors from me but I think I made it work :)
If you have not participated in the Card Chain challenge put on by my Friend Debora Nolan.
It is lots of Fun and you get mail from people all over the world.....
Links for Supplies are below except for the new dies that will be coming real soon!

A Fun Technique with New Elizabeth Craft Designs!

I was playing with some of the Beautiful stamps by Bianca for Elizabeth Craft Designs over the weekend.  I decided to try a technique I have seen my friend Alice Wertz do before with one of the Images I colored.

Basically it is like a Puzzle and gives such a Beautiful effect!

1.You stamp and color your image onto a piece of the NEW soft Finish card stock 4"" by 5" by Elizabeth Craft Designs (Which I Love by the way).
2. Die cut the Merry Christmas from your colored piece  ( a little scary I know) I used a beautiful die by Suzanne Cannon for Elizabeth Craft Designs.Very Important: Keep ALL those tiny pieces that come from this cut to use later.
3. Cut a Piece of the Elizabeth Craft Designs  Double Sided Adhesive  4" by 5" and place it onto a piece of the Soft Finish card stock 4" by 5".  Remove the backing and place your Large Negative edge onto the adhesive.
4. Cut The Merry Christmas out of Red Card stock 4 times and glue them together making a thick stack.  Then glue the Colored Merry Christmas onto the stack of red and adhere it inside the Negative so it fits.
5. Now fit ALL those tiny pieces into the negative space that already has adhesive. Time consuming but gives such a beautiful effect!
6. Last I made a stack of frames using Fitted Frames 1 Lace Rectangles (1061)  The Elizabeth Craft Designs 4 cuts in red and one in white .  I took the large inside red and adhered it around my Merry Christmas using pieces of DSA by ECD.
7. Last Place your stack of frames onto your 4"x5" design using pieces of DSA by ECD. Place Double Sided Adhesive on the back of the Panel and Adhere to the Final card which measures 5"x6"

Here is another View of the Finished Card!

I Love the Look this gives.
If you have not yet tried the New Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Card Stock..... You really should!
I am a VERY picky person when it comes to coloring card stock and I can not tell you enough how much I LOVE this card stock!
I'm also loving the New Stamps and the Quietfire Designs Dies are so Beautiful and perfect for a Card front!

Thank you for stopping and have a perfect day......
